Local films have never failed to disappoint me, including the latest one which I have just watched-"One More Chance", directed by Jack Neo. The story plot is fresh, whereby it depicts 3 guys who have been in jailed, are then released back to the society to start afresh. Even if they are willing to start anew, however, does society actually give them a chance? As what the title of the movie is.. "One More Chance". Will people actually disregard them as ex-convicts, and prepare to see them as fresh individuals? There is a sentence that is said by Mark Lee in the show, "Although the judge has sentenced me 10 years, the society has actually sentenced me a life imprisonment." Remember the child actress Megan Zhang from Homerun? She has grown up! And our long lost Lina Ng, who plays a "chor2 lor4" gambling wife, so funny. Not forgetting Apple Hong, who plays the wife of Mark Lee. Hmm... think she is getting prettier. The movie also includes many touching moments as well a good sense of humour thrown in together. Go watch it, it is worth the ticket price.
