Really enjoyed oursleves at the chalet in Pasir Ris Costa Sands..Was from 31/10/05-2/10/05. Though we actually expected more like kayaking, mahjong, reeds, that we somehow did not do...Ended up eating, chatting all the way. Imagine the time that was supposed to spend on sleeping, and yes, we spent it all on eating. The nasi lemak at Changi Village was fantastic. Went for supper on Saturday itself at around 3.30am, and as usual, people were already queuing up. Actually quite pity those stalls that were situated directly opposite them. They are also selling nasi lemak, and you can see that the chicken wings are stacking up, but nobody actually buys from them. Along the paths at the carparks, there were really quite a few "bapoks", some really look very pretty!! There are also a handful of ah peks staring at them..
Haha..Was really impressed by Tracy's boyfriend, Brendon. Guess wat? While everyone was sleeping and snoring away, he actually went to do housework like arranging those stuff that we bought nicely on the table, and even arrange those toiletries like toothbrush and all neatly. Shoes were also neatly arranged. And he was the one who really went to get us breakfast! Surprised, guys actually enjoyed housework! Haha.. Von was also another onz one. She came for the chalet even though she had to work at 10am on Saturday, she still made an effort to come and even returned after her work on that day.
The actual bbq has finally arrived on Saturday evening... Kinda look forward to it. Saw a few of my Stansfield friends. It has been more then one year since we last met? Managed to do a bit of catching up. However, part of the time was spent on telling them what the guy(fat liar) did and stuff. We seriously think that either he is a psychotic or a serious nutcase. Alvin, being the fat liar's very good friend was there too.. He came from his work at around 11plus. Probably he did not like us commenting and repeating so much of this to our other friends, as he still treat him as his very good friend. He is really a very forgiving person. He even told us that we should think of ways to help him instead of pointing fingers at him. The fat liar even had the cheek to message two of my friends asking where is the venue of the chalet and that he will not come personally and that he will pass the present to someone and in turn to the birthday girl. But, too bad, nothing was revealed to him. What a relief. Think even if we are able to forgive him, don't think so that we can still come out as friends.
Anyway, we just spent the time bbqing and chatting all the way from 6pm to 4am. Wow, really eating non-stop, can imagine the amount of food and calories piling! Which means, I will have to work out a lot more to get rid of the oily food! By the way, Me and Von managed to create our dessert of the day. That is, agar agar mixed with either Sprite or Coke. The coke mixture tasted a bit weird, but the Sprite one is recommeded. Reakky looking forward to the next chalet.Took a few pics on the day, and the rest are in another friend's camera.
