First time at "Chong Qing Huo Guo"
First time at a KTV Pub, very suaku hor?

Overall, TGIF, had a fruitful day. Skipped work today as I had to attend to some matters in the morning and early afternoon. Went shopping with Jas after that. Managed to get hand wraps at MS. So happy! Now, I am ready for JC class or Combat! Yeah! It was raining heavily, and just felt good to have steamboat. Yummy! The steamboat along Tan Qwee Lan Street is quite cheap. Only $12nett. But, quality and variety wise...not so good leh. But, $12 dollars stuff, so we dun expect much la, mai hiam can le. Even the service sux! We tried to order drinks from the waiter but they din came, end up we had to go down personally and do "self-service". Ok, at least we felt full, not so bad. You can eat all the way till 5am! What surprised us was there are actually two shops also by the same name, "Chong Qing Huo Guo", just that the other shops charge slightly more expensive at $15 bucks. After having our dinner, we went to the other shops and have a quick peep, realised that there are actually more variety and there are better stuff like CRABS!
Later, Zy's bf came to bring us to this KTV pub at Duxton Road. It was opened by her friend's sis. Her friend was there too, a very friendly and outgoing person, as per what Zy had mentioned. Probably, the ambience there dun really suit me. I still prefer places like Kbox or PartyWorld for KTV or just normal pubs or lounges for drinks. No mixture! The songs there are not as new, and you need to wait after you picked a song. And since it is a KTV pub, everyone will be able to hear your singing! Shy pple like us feel pai seh...One thing good is that it is more hua since you get to drink and sing at the same time. Oh, and free flow of peanuts too! Oh.. one more thing, tink Singaporeans getting more and more daring or am I too much of a conservative? We actually saw a couple making out in a car at the carpark. Not sure is till which stage cos we din stay all the way for the free show.. Later on our way back, we saw police catching those pple who are fighting. Hmm..What a night!
