Was out Xmas shopping with Ah Hui yesterday. Bought a lot of stuff, including 11 presents for my colleagues in the department. Yes, a total of 11 presents just for colleagues. First time siah, bought so many at one go. Went Shibuya and buy same identical gifts for them. Was quite pissed off by the supervisor as she refuses to give me extra small bags so that I do not have to wrap... She does not provide wrapping service as well. Recommended me to buy those ready made wrappers instead. Ended up buying 3 wrappers, wrapping all the pressies all by myself. Btw, I've got poor wrapping skills, but I guessed they have improved after all the 11 continuous wrapping. Haha
Went to dine at Pizza Hut, surprisingly, practically all the staff there at Marina Square branch were super polite. Service was very good, compared to other places. One thing bad was we found the place very cold, cold until when we left the there, we started walking in a "You-know-we-are-very-cold manner."
After work today, I rushed home immediately, wanting to make my very first wax candle. Bought a huge bag of gel-wax at Spotlight yesterday and those neccessary at Bras Basah as well. Chun also helped me get like 16 glasses from Ikea... To my disappointment, the supposedly big bag of wax can only allow me to make 7 glasses! A bit bo hua, as the cost price is rather high. And, I ended up with so many glasses, unused! Nonetheless, I am very proud of what I've accomplished today, though a few of them looked rather messy.(First time mah..) Anyway, will be giving them away as Xmas pressies...See, my friends are so lucky! :)
