Anyway, we had a mini gathering at Sakae Sushi(Bugis Branch)last Friday nite. We haven seen Lay Ming for donkey years! Glad that we managed to catch up. How time flies! Chatted up, and realised that all of us are getting old. You knew it especially when you start reminiscing about the past. Dinner there was good, and also becos of the freakingly low price that we paid per person. Yes, it was only $8 after tax and everything. Guess the waitress cock eye and din count properly. :)
Jingzhuan came and joined us for drinks after her class, and we headed to CAN Cafe along Liang Seah Street. But, we were so pissed with the boss's atttude that we left the place after ordering! For your info, we have been there since 10.25pm, and till 11pm, no drinks have been served! Initially, we were directed to a 7-seater as we thought that Yin Yin would be joining us. However, she couldn't join us at the eleventh hour, and Toufool and Ming had to leave early. So obviously, the few glasses of drinks that we order wasn't up to the boss expectations. He expected us to like order more since we are like taking a 7-seater. But, come on lor, there are only 4 of us, can't expect us to order for like 7 people. Guess what, then he shifted us outdoor, to a 4-seater. Fine, but still, after the long long wait, still no drinks. That was when we decided to leave...
Anyway, looking forward to our next gathering on 22nd Dec 2006! Onz!!!!
