I am bored.. very very very very very bored. Won't be able to step out of the house for at least one week, other then to visit doctor for more medication.... CHICKEN POX!!!!!! YES, CHICKEN POX!!!!!!! I was like thinking, why me... and why now... N I was supposed to watch Royal Casino Premier with my friend (FOC) and I was supposed to book holiday to Korea with Von they all tml. Now, all of these have got to be cancelled!!
Let' go back to yesterday scenario...
I thought that I had a bit of sore throat since Thursday night, so decided to get just some medication and then return to work. I was thinking, maybe it is due to the half day helpdesk that I was handling on the day. Since I was again on helpdesk till 1pm on Friday, I can only go to see doctor after lunch. My colleagues were like already suspecting that I may have chicken pox and so advised me to see doc ASAP. My colleague who is getting married on the 9th Dec was quite stressed as he has not kena chicken pox before..
So.. after lunch(btw I still had appetite to take briyani..) I went to see the doc at China Square. Guess what.. The doc was pregnant! I had already guessed so that she may want to avoid me as soon as possible and just prescribe me with the the necessary...
Doc: How can I help you?
Me: I have sore throat.
Doc: Hmm... Any fever? I will check.. High Fever. More than 38 degrees
Me: I suddenly have a few spots on my face, and a couple on my body. Issit chicken pox?
Doc: Looks like it. I will give you some medication and MC for one week first. (A bit lugi cos on Friday, more then 1/2 day is gone and she also includes Sat and Sun)
When I tried to ask her for more questions, it was rather obvious that she din really want to answer me or spend more time with me...
Anyway, I really cannot confirm if it is really chicken pox. Comtemplating to see another doc for 2nd opinion. :)
Right now, I am just bored at home(being quarantined), and tons and tons of "liang cha" waiting for me.. :(
