Yupz, from the pics, we were at MarRitchie Reservoir yesterday! With the ultimate aim to reach Tree Top View, and yes, we did it! Distance of about 10.2km. We started so called trekking from 9.30am to like around 1pm or so. There were upslopes and downslopes, uneven grounds. Not very friendly. Guess, we are so used to walking on flat smooth surfaces that's why. Nearly slipped and fell, but luckily my balancing is quite good. Just skidded. Hehe... There were many joggers, families, schoolchildren there as well. So, quite many Singaporeans do enjoy this type of activity. From the initial pics that I posted, you may have noticed one of the monkeys is like wounded, near the bum area, and the smaller one seemed to be helping to nurse the wound? Did not dare to feed or take photos upclose, for fear that the monkeys may attack me. Kiasi me can only take them from far, and without flash too. Finally, we reached the destination... Tree Top View! The scenery there is as expected, breathtaking! Did not realised that the route is ONE-WAY, so you cant go back if you missed out certain things that you wanna capture. Anyway, it is really worth the time and effort, I guess people should at least try for once if they have not! Btw, I was like starving throughout the journey, stomach growling all the way..Haha...
