Merry Merry Xmas to all!
Yesterday was at cousin's place for Xmas. Guess this was the tradition that we have every year, except that there was no BBQ. Our aunties (very accurate weather broadcasters) predicted the day to have rain with maybe slight thunderstorms? So, we have some home-cooked food as well as food catered by Sakae Sushi. Apparently, if you ordered their Premium Sushi, they are also able to deliver their very own type of japanese pizzas. Quite tempted to try them initially, but dun find them as good as even Canadian or even from Pizza Hut. And, the pizzas are cold!
Spent the evening KTVing and cam-whoring... As you can see from the pics. Can still see my chicken pox marks on my face leh.. Sian..
By the way, happened to buy the same top as my cousin, Chun. Din really expected it as well. Chun bot it on Sat and wore it on Sun. I bot it on Sun and took to my cousin's place to wear it on Mon. That is when I saw her wearing, then I decided to take some pics of us together wearing the same tops, but different colours.
Today did nothin much actually. Stayed over at my cousins' place and then attended a relative's funeral at Singapore Casket in the morning with aunty and grandmother. I dun really remember the deceased, but I do remember her husband. Apparently, she died of stomach cancer, resulted from wrong diagnosis from the doctor. A few months back, she has complained of stomach problems as she often felt a sharp pain in the abdomen area, the doctor prescribed normal gastritics medicine for her, without even suspecting that she may have the possibility of contracting stomach cancer. Even though the patient complained many times that the medicine did not really worked for her, the doctor still insisted that it is just gastritics especially since the patient did not appear to lose a lot of weight, or showed any other types of symptoms. It was only until her family insisted in consulting another doctor for a second opinion that they discovered she indeed has cancer, after completing the scope. However, it was too late. Cancer cells have already spread......She is 67 this year...If not for the doctor's negligence, perhaps she would have live for an extra few years or more? Apparently, my grandfather also had a "premature death" due to doctor's wrong diagnosis.
Later in the afternoon, went for KTV at chinatown and dinner at Maxwell... Traffic was smooth there as I guess everyone has flocked to town for Xmas. No queues nor jams. Yeah!
