New Year was spent celebrating at Von's house... We all met up ealier at NTUC to shop for groceries. Spent a whopping amount of $60++ in all. Consisted mainly of steamboat ingredients like prawns, meat, yong tau food and many many others. We bot agar agar ingredients which we make later. Din expect it to be the penalty when we played card games later. Oh, watermelons too. A sumptuous meal.
Initially we thought of going somewhere to countdown, like Esplanade or at ECP. But, in the end, everyone was like nuahing. Practically glued to the TV or to MJ after dinner. Tink I am the only minority who is an MJ-idiot. Nearly fell asleep on the couch. After that, left Von's house for supper at the famous Bar Chor Mee in Bedok area. Apparently there's another even tastier Bar Chor Mee, but has already closed. So many people, we waited for seats, and also waited very long for food. I like the osyter omelette. Tink I was the most super hungry there.
