Yes, today is a fun yet jam-packed day!
Morning went Grassroot CLub with grandma, mum and aunty. Went for the gym,suana, steam, jacuzzi, and followed by a hot bath. Shiok man, very long din go le. Actually I quite like hanging out with aunties.. Haha, maybe I'm one myself. After that went for lunch at AMK coffeeshop. Ate the famous Chai Chee Ba Chor Mee there. Actually, I think it tastes so-so only. Still prefer the one near my office, at Far East Square..
Went home and took a short rest before meeting Chris(Bdae Gal), Shimei and Jeanne for dinner. Initially we were contemplating if we wanted to go to some restuarants at Central or Hooters since we all agreed to meet at Clarke Quay. However, today's weather is freaking hot and no one really want to cross over the big river to go hooters, and we wanted to go somewhere we have not been to before. Suddenly tot of Fisherman's Wharf, situated just across Central. Decided to give it a try.....We were all glad that we made the right choice! The food is really cheap and nice. By cheap I mean is really affordable, and there isn't any GST or taxes involved. Simply NETT. And, the Fish N Chips is only $6.50! Where in Singapore can I find a Fish N CHip that is only $6.50??!!! (Other than in coffeeshops or food courts?) The portion is quite reasonable, I even have some leftover fries which I cant finished. Fish is fresh and very tasty, I like. Think all of us saved quite a lot by coming here, instead of places like Manhatten or Fish & Co.
Proceeded to Minds Cafe to have more food, drinks and of cos play some games. Think we need to destress a bit.. Haha.. I orded Ice Honey mixed with Camomile Tea(spelling may be wrong). Din really like the taste, guessed I took only like 2 sips. Ended up ordering ice water.. Lugi rite. We played only two games cos we sort of like Blokus so much that we just kept playing and din really want to change the game.. Chris even tot of buying the game back.. A really strategic game whereby you really have to plan ahead and plot against your opponent. Our dear Shimei is our big winner (since she is an engineer mah...)
